Weekly Class Schedule!
The Spring Weekly Schedule starts January 10th until June 2nd with 20 classes. There are no
classes the week of March 12th. Classes are ongoing and you may start at any time during the semester. Contact us for information if you are unsure about any part of the registration or payment process.
Fall and Spring weekly Fine Art class times are 4:00, 5:00, 6:00 or 7:00 pm Tuesday and Thursday and 10:00
or 11:00 AM or 12:00 or 1:00 pm Saturday. The times are shown in the registration area in a drop down menu for each class
listing. Be sure to select the correct age group for your child.
Log in on the Registration page to register and pay for classes or if you are not already signed up for an account on our website please
sign up for an account and you will be granted immediate access to registration. Once you have registered you can then sign up for classes
and camps by going to the Registration page.After registering please visit our Forms page and download the forms and bring them with you to your first class or camp at Art Expressions. You may also register by mail by going to our forms page, completing the forms and mailing them with a check or money order. **Any contact information
you provide will be held in the strictest confidence by Art Expressions and will not be redistributed.

Media Fine Art Studio class ages 3 to 6 (all supplies included for this age group)
Class meets once a week with pre registration required for classes. Register to see a detailed class
description. All supplies provided for 3-6 year old classes. This class uses children's literature and art history to teach
children a variety of methods for creating art. Each weekly class will create a completed project utilizing methods and art
element knowledge taught in class. Each month we paint, draw, collage and create 3-D art. *
Mixed Media Fine Art Studio class ages
7 to 16
Class meets once a week with pre
registration required for classes. Most projects are ongoing for the older students. We
focus on some Art History with the foundation of drawing (does not go into depth like the drawing class) while working with
a variety of media, pencils, pastels, acrylic, collage, and sculpture (some ceramic). Each student is required to bring a
9 x 12 spiral bound sketch book to class time but all other supplies are provided. *
Beginning Drawing Studio and Drawing Studio: ages 7 + Each student will
learn how to draw what they see and not just what they know an object looks like. Working on visual perceptions and the recognition
of shapes that make up objects through line, shape, texture and value. Each student is required to bring a 9 x 12 spiral
bound sketch book, Kimberly Graphite Drawing pencil kit, and a kneading eraser. Other supplies will be provided. *
Drawing Studio further utilizes skills introduced in Beginning Drawing Studio. *
Fashion Illustration: ages
8 + October and November ONLY learn the fundamentals of fashion illustration to create
fashion flats, mood boards, and fashion collages. Please bring a spiral bound sketchbook to first class. Last class
will be Dec. 1. You can sign up for one or both months. *
Water Color Studio: ages 8 + learn the fundamental of water color paint to create the illustion
of 3-D objects on a 2-D surface. Supplies students provide a 9 x 12 cold press water color Block paper
140 lbs of 20 sheeets, a 9 x 12 water color sketch book, and a drawing sketch book 9 x 12. Brushes and paints are provided.

Oil
Painting Studio: ages 7 + Each student will learn the fundamentals of painting with Water Souable Oil Paint
which they will purchase. They will start with a drawing from an image and learn how to clean their brushes, which I
will provide, mix the colors and apply the oil painting rules to give the illusion of a 3-D object on a 2-D surface. Each
student works on a separate illustration. Supplies students provide (Winsor & Newton Artisan water mixable
oil colour Standard Set with 6 colors), water mixable standard oil, a 9 x 12 spiral bound sketch book and some
image ideas. All other supplies are provided. *
Ceramic Studio: ages 5 + offered on Saturday for one hour where
your child can create original pieces of sculpture either functional or non-functional. *
Sew for Your 18" Doll: ages 8 + Each month
we will spend 1 1/2 hours a week making a different seasonal outfit complete with accessories. Try our sewing camp during
Winter Break and see if this class is for you. Must be at least 8 years old to take this class. In some cases the teacher
may approve a younger student. *
Sew for Yourself: ages 8 + Each
month we will spend 1 1/2 hours a week making an accessory or clothing piece for ourselves. We learn about fabrics, cutting
out our pattern, seam finishes and sewing by hand and on a machine.Our first project will be a Silly Stuffed Creature
that the kids get to design themselves. Must be at least 8 years old to take this class. In some cases the teacher may approve
a younger student. *
Home School Tuesday Class: Quilting, see the children's quilting page for info. * * Due to the nature of our classes there are no make-ups for missed classes.
